DHAKA: Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Sayeed Khokon has said that Dhaka will stand beside the holy places-- Makkah and Medina if requires.

He said this while inaugurating the building of the Jamyeet-e-Ahle Hadith Bangladesh at Jatrabari in the city on Saturday (April 08).  

The DSCC mayor said that the friendly relation of Bangladesh with Saudi Arabia is best and it will continue in the future.

Visiting two Imams of Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and Masjid al-Nabawi of Medina Sheikh Dr Muhammad Bin Nasser Al Khuzaim and Sheikh Dr Abdul Mohsen Bin Mohammed Al Qasim respectively joined the function.

President of Jamyeet-e-Ahle Hadith Bangladesh Prof Mohammad Mubarak Ali chaired the function, while adviser of the platform Alhajj AKM Rahmat Ullah MP also attended it, among others.
