DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina hosted an Iftar party in honor of professionals at her official residence Ganobhaban in the capital city on Saturday (June 10).

Artists, writers, columnists, journalists, lawyers, physicians, engineers, university teachers, educationists, intellectuals, civil and military officials and people of other professions joined the PM’s Iftar party.   

Sheikh Hasina went round different tables set for the guests, and exchanged pleasantries with them and enquired about their wellbeing.

Later, she took Iftar with the professionals.

Before the Iftar, a special munajat was offered seeking peace, progress and prosperity of the nation.
