BANDARBAN: Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader has said that the government is prepared to face any natural disaster.

The minister made the comment while speaking at relief distribution function in a primary school premises in Bandarban district town on Wednesday afternoon (June 14).

The relief was distributed on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina among the destitute who have been affected due to disastrous landslides and flash flood in the hilly district.

Obaidul Quader said that the government has providing relief among the landslide and flood hit people properly.  

Expressing deep shock over the death of a number of people in landslides, he called upon the leaders and workers of his party to stand by the affected people.
