NOAKHALI: Awami League general secretary and road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader has said that there is no compromise with those who are the patrons of militancy.
He said this while speaking at a reunion program of ex-students of Karam Box Adarsha High School at Kabirhat upazila in Noakhali on Saturday (July 01).
Obaidul Quader said that although the current government is working against the militancy, the militancy was not uprooted fully. A strong resistance has to be formed against the militancy, he added.
He called upon the guardians to be alert so that their children can’t opt for the path of militancy.
Founder president of the high school and vice chairman of Kabirhar Upazila Parishad Mofiz Ullah presided over the function, while Noakhali district Awami League general secretary Ekramul Karim Chowdhury MP, Kabirhat upazila Awami League president Nurul Amin Rumi and mayor of Kabirhat municipality Jahirul Haque Raihan also spoke it, among others.
