NAOGAON: Police have arrested a member of Jamaa’tul Mujahidin Bangladesh (JMB) from Jamgram village under Atrai upazila in Naogaon district.

Md Shahidul Islam, 45, son of Shahad Ali of the Jamgram village and an associate of Bangla Bhai, was arrested on Saturday afternoon (July 01).

Officer-in-chaarge (OC) of Atrai police station Badrudduza told Banglanews that Shahidul Islam actively joined the activities of Bangla Bhai in 2004. He was on the run for long days. He is accused in two cases filed in the Atrai police station, said the OC.
