NILPHAMARI: Police in a special drive have detained at least 32 people, including 13 Jamaat-Shibir leaders and activists, in Nilphamari district.
 
The drive was conducted from Tuesday night (July 04) to Wednesday morning (July 05) in various places the district.

The detained Jamaat-Shibir are identified as Amir Habibullah Kazi, 40, Ameer Jahid Ali, 42, activist Rafiqul Islam, 45, Abdul Momin, 40, Abul Kalam, 38, activist Sabbir Ahmed, 20, Mahmud Al Hasan,18, Abed Ali 18, Tariqul Islam ,19, Golam Rabbani,19, Ashraful Islam,18, Rezaul Karim,20, and Abdullah,18.

According to district police control room, among the arrestees, eight are accused in GR case, seven in the CR case and 16 in other cases.
