THAKURGAON: BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the national election must be acceptable to the peoples in home and abroad.

Therefore, the government should ensure the election fair, flawless and impartial, he said.

Fakhrul was addressing at the launching ceremony of BNP’s member collecting program at Thakurgaon Municipality Community Center Friday night (July 7). 

Criticizing the recent rise in rice price, Fakhrul said that the government didn’t take any initiative yet though the commoners can not afford the increased price of rice. 

Thakurgaon district unit BNP President Toimur Rahman and Secretary General Mirza Faisal Amin were among others present at the program.
