DHAKA: BNP vice chairman Major (retd) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed Bir Bikram has said that the party chairperson Khaleda Zia will give an outline for the next Parliamentary elections after returning from London.
Hafiz Uddin Ahmed said this while speaking at an activists’ conference at Bhashani auditorium at Nayapaltan in the city on Saturday (July 15).
Mirpur Thana unit and Adabar Thana unit of Jatiyatabadi Mahila Dal, the woman body of the BNP, jointly arranged the function
Hafiz Uddin Ahmed alleged that the ruling Awami League is trying hard so that the BNP doesn’t participate in the next polls.
He said that free and fair election is not possible under this government. Therefore, the government will be compelled through mass movement to realize the demand of the election-time government.
Mahila Dal’s Dhaka north unit President Pyaara Mostafa chaired the meeting, while general secretary of the unit Amina Khatun conducted it. Mahila Dal president Afroza Abbas also addressed the function.
