DHAKA: Four leaders of the Tangail district unit BNP, including two vice-presidents, were suspended from all levels of the party including primary membership for violating organizational discipline.

The suspended leaders are- Vice Presidents Ali Imam Tapan and Hasanuzzamil Shahin, Joint General Secretary Ahmedul Haq Shatil and former joint general secretary Kazi Shafiqur Rahman Liton.

The decision of suspension was taken as per Section 5 (Ga) of the party’s constitution, says a press release issued on Monday (July 31) signed by the central assistant secretary of the party Md. Taiful Islam Tipu.
