BOGRA: Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB), Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) and Ganatantrik Bam Morcha jointly organized a human chain in Bogra district town demanding exemplary punishment of Sramik League leader Tufan for torturing mother-daughter.

BSD District convener Advocate Saiful Islam Poltu presided over the human chain formed at the Satmatha area in the town on Tuesday noon (August 01).

In his speech, Saiful said that Tufan committed the crime under influence of the ruling party.

“Not only Tufan, all the people who indulged him including all of his aides should be brought under trial”, he added.  

BSD leader Aminul Islam conducted the program, while CPB district unit Secretary General Aminul Farid, Coordinator Samsul Alom Dulu, Ganasanghati Andolon district unit Coordinator Abdur Rashid, Bangladesh Trade Union Center (TUC) leader Hasan Ali Sheikh, Samajtantrik Mohila Forum Convener Dilruba Nuri and Samajtantrik Chhatra Front district unit President Radha Rani Bormon also spoke at the human chain, among others.
