DHAKA: BNP vice chairman Advocate Khandker Mahbud Hossain on Saturday (August 26) alleged that the government has ruined all the institutions of the country.

“You (government) have politicized all the institutions of the state. Please, don’t ruin the judiciary as well as the Supreme Court,” he asked the government.

He said these while speaking at a rally at Dhaka Reporters Unity in the capital city. The rally was organized demanding reopening of Amar Desh and other closed media.

Acting editor of Amar Desh Mahmudur Rahman, Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury of Gonosastya Kendra and chairman of Bangladesh Kalyan Party Syed Mohammad Ibrahim Birpratik also spoke at the rally, among others.
