DHAKA: BNP senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed has commented that the ruling Awami League is shouting in a bid to hide its failures.  

He made the comment at a press conference at the party’s Nayapaltan central office in the city on Sunday (September 03).

The BNP leader said the people of the country are annoyed with the misrule and misdeeds of the government. They are (people) are coming forward to face the misrule, he added.    

He came down heavily on the government for its failure to control the price hike of essentials. The price of rice and other commodities are being increased, while the price of gas, power and water has also been increased. The people are experiencing untold sufferings due to the price hike, he said.

Ruhul Kabir Rizvi alleged that that the government has taken stance against the judiciary.
