DHAKA: Prime Minister also Awami League President Sheikh Hasina directed her party leaders and activists to strengthen the preparation for the upcoming national election.

Sheikh Hasina came upon with the instructions at a closed-door meeting after delivering the key speech at a meeting of Awami League Central Executive Committee in Ganabhaban Thursday night (September 7), sources said.    

Citing that nominations will be given to the qualified candidates following questing about efficiencies, Sheikh Hasina said, respective candidates must build their own image.

However, she advised her party activists and leaders to enhance connection with the people, said the meeting source.

Sheikh Hasina also asked about the progress on member collection while the organizing secretaries submitted reports to her in the meeting.
