BARGUNA: The local administration imposed section 144 at Betagi upazila in Barguna to avert untoward situation as Betagi upazila and municipal BNP separately called rallies on the same venue and same time.

Betagi Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Executive Magistrate Md. Zakir Hossain Bacchu on Sunday (September 24) issued the Section 144.

Betagi upazila and municipal BNP called two separate activist rallies in front of the municipal office and Mokamia Union Madrasa Market field at the arrival of advocate Khandaker Mahbub Hossain, vice chairman of BNP central committee.
