DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Monday (September 25) greeted the Hindu community of the country on the occasion of the Durga Puja and Bijaya-Dashamai.
In a message, the BNP chief urged the countrymen, irrespective of reed and color, to remain alert so that no one can carry out any evil act against the country’s religious harmony.
“BNP is committed to preserve religious freedom of the country. After all, we are Bangladeshis, which should be our identity.”
Khaleda Zia also expressed her outrage over incidents intended to disturb communal harmony, in some places of the country, at the hands of ruling party.
