DHAKA: BNP vice-chairman Shamsuzzaman Dudu has commented that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is now staying abroad for Nobel laureate.

The BNP leader made the comment while speaking at a seminar at the National Press Club in the city on Wednesday (October 05).

Khelafat Majlish, a partner of the BNP-led 20-party alliance, arranged the seminar on ‘Ethnic Cleansing Operation and Genocide of Rohingya People: Our Responsibilities’.

President of the party Principal Maulana Mohammad Ishak chaired the function, while Jatiya Party (Zafor) secretary general Mostafa Jamal Haider, educationist Prof Dr Mahbub Ullah, Khelafat Majlish secretary general Ahmed Abdul Quader also spoke it, among others.

Shamsuzzaman Dudu said that China and Russia stood against displaced Rohingyas, so Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had stood against Rohingyas. The PM is now staying abroad. She is now there for Nobel laureate, he said.
