DHAKA: BNP standing committee member Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain claimed that the Rohingya crisis deepened due to diplomatic failure of the government.
Addressing a discussion on Saturday (October 07), the BNP senior leader said that the Rohingya influx cloud be stopped if the government would discuss the issue with India, China and Russia properly. But they did not woo the three countries in favor of Bangladesh, he added.
Jatiya Gonotantrik Party (Jagpa), a partner of the BNP-led 20-party alliance, arranged the discussion on “The Way Out of Rohingya Crisis and Present Perspective” at the Dhaka Reporters Unity.
Acting president of Jagpa Prof Rehana Prodhan chaired the discussion meeting, while Barrister Tasmia Hossain also spoke it, among others.
