SYLHET: An activist of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), associate student body of ruling Awami League was killed while two others were injured during a factional clash at Tilaghor area in Sylhet city on Monday (October 16).

The deceased was identified as Omar Ali, 26, son of Akul Miah of Baluchor area of the city. 

The deceased and injured were taken to MAG Osmani Medical College and Hospital.
 
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Akthar Hossain of Shah Paran Police Station told Banglanews that the clash took place at 3: 15 pm.
