BHOLA: Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed has said that his party has made healthcare available to the people while BNP only looted during their regime.

He made the comment while speaking at the inauguration of 30-bed government hospital at Khair Hat area of Daulatkhan Upazila in Bhola on Saturday (October 28).

The Minister said, "We have built up 13 thousand community clinics in the villages. On the contrary, Khaleda Zia closed them down.”  

Civil Surgeon of Bhola Dr Rathindra Nath Majumder chaired the program, while MP Ali Azam Mukul of Bhola-2 was the chief guest, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md. Selim Uddin, Police Super Moktar Hossain District Awami League Organizing Secretary Moinul Hossain Biplob were also present in the program among others.
