DHAKA: Awami League General Secretary also Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader commented that Saturday’s attacks on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s motorcade in Feni was conducted by their own wings--Chhatra Dal and Jubo Dal. 

“Chhatra Dal-Jubo Dal carried out the attack to execute own plan.”

“As they needed a big coverage of news for gaining crowds (marking their Cox’s Bazar visit), they carried out the attack by their own, in a dramatic way.”     

Quader was addressing the media at his office in the secretariat Sunday morning (October 29).

However, on Saturday (October 28), miscreants threw stones at BNP Chairperson’s motorcade at Nimchar and Debipur areas of Feni en route to Chittagong for visiting Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar.
