DHAKA: Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has begun its rally formally in city’s Suhrawardy Udyan with recitation from the Holy Quran.

The rally started around 1:45pm on Sunday (November 12).

Party’s metropolitan and central level leaders are seen delivering speech at the rally chaired by BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. BNP publicity editor Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie is moderating the program. 

Leaders and activists are now thronging the rally from different wards of the city.  Speeches, made by BNP leaders, are being met with constant clapping, slogans, and support.

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia will address the rally as the chief guest.
