DHAKA: Mentioning that the next parliamentary election will be held under neutral government, BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir reiterated that his party will definitely win the election by a landslide.
He made the remark at a discussion held in city’s Diploma Engineers Institution auditorium on Sunday evening (Nov 16).
Swecchasebak Dal organized the meeting to mark the 53rd birthday of BNP vice-chairman Tarique Rahman.
Fakhrul said the country is on the verge of devastation but AL is expending taxpayer money on T-shirts and caps to celebrate made-up occasion. None of it will work because the time is up.
Fakhrul also blamed the government for framing false corruption charges against BNP vice-chairman Tarique Rahman.
On the recent deal with Myanmar on Rohingya repatriation, Fakhrul criticized the government for accepting a Myanmar-dominated unfair deal.
