NATORE: At least two people sustained bullet injuries following a fierce clash between activists of Awami League and BNP in Natore sadar upazila on Sunday (December 03).

One of the injured was identified as Robiul Islam, general secretary of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student front of AL. Both of the wounded were admitted to Natore Sadar Hospital.

Police were dispatched to Alaipur (Hafrasta) area of the town as there still exits a tensed atmosphere after the incident took place at around 11:30 am.

Natore Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sikder Moshiur Rahman told Banglanews that the reason of the clash is still unknown.
