SATKHIRA: Police on Saturday (January 13) arrested ameer of Tala Upazila unit of Jamaat-e-Islami Maulana Mofidul Islam.
A team of police arrested the Jamaat leader from his residence at Kotakhali village under Patkelghata area of the upazila at about 5:30 pm.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Patkelghata Police Station Molla Jakir Hossain told Banglanews that Mofidul Islam was accused in six cases.
