DHAKA: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Wednesday (January 24) visited the grave of her younger son Arafat Rahman Koko and offered Fateha there.
She prayed for the salvation of her son’s departed soul.
The BNP chief visited Koko’s grave at Banani Graveyard in the capital city in the evening. She took part in a munazat there. She also recited from the Holy Quran there.
BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan, the party’s secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, vice chairman Abdul Awal Mintoo, joint secretary general Habib-un-Nabi Khan Sohel also joined the munazat.
Koko died of heart failure at his rented residence in Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia on January 24 in 2015.
