DHAKA: The opposition party of the parliament Jatiya Party (JP) has decided to support the ruling Awami league nominated candidate and current President Abdul Hamid for the 23rd Presidential election.

The decision came from a presidium meeting headed by JP chairman HM Ershad at party’s central office in city’s Banani area on Monday (February 5).

After the meeting, it was also disclosed to journalists that JP decided to hold a rally in Dhaka on March 24. Moreover, the party has also planned for long march, road march, launch march and rail march.
