India opt to bat first against Bangladesh

DHAKA: Indian captain Virat Kohli has won the toss and opted to bat first against Bangladesh in the 40th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 at Edgbaston, Birmingham on Tuesday (July 2). 

The do-or-die match for Bangladesh is scheduled to begin at 3:30pm (Bangladesh Time). 

Kuldeep Yadav is out for Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Dinesh Karthik in for Kedar Jadhav.

Mehidy Hasan is out for Rubel Hossain. Sabbir Rahman replaces Mahmudullah as he failed in the fitness test.
