DHAKA: T20 franchise Rajshahi Kings signed former South African batsman JP Duminy for the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) later this year.
In its social media page, the Rajshahi Kings announced that South African all-rounder Duminy is a King now.
Duminy retired from all forms of international cricket after the World Cup 2019. He ends his career with 46 Tests at an average of 32.85, 199 ODIs at 36.81 and 81 T20Is at 38.68 to his name.
This week he was recruited by the Belfast Titans for the inaugural Euro T20 Slam in the Netherlands, Scotland and Ireland.
The 35-year-old Duminy’s career has also featured stints with the Deccan Chargers, Delhi Daredevils, Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League.
Meanwhile, Proteas batsman David Miller is joining the Dhaka Dynamites. World Cup-winning English captain Yon Morgan will be a teammate of Millar. Former Aussie all-rounder Shane Watson has already joined the Khulna Titans. Proteas spinner Imran Tahir is expected to join the same team.
This year, the 7th BPL will be held in the field on December 6 this year.
