DHAKA: The government is committed to build Software Technology Park in city’s Karwan Bazar area shortly.

The State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak came up with the disclosure while he was visiting the project of the Park on Tuesday noon at Janata Tower in city’s Karwan Bazar area.

He said that the technology park is a must to be built as it was a promise of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The government will step forward to build Digital Bangladesh by implementing this project, he added.

He also said that there is no choice to ignore such realistic project in the revolutionary age of science and technology. It will help keep the country’s image upright in the modern world, he added.

However, the construction of the project is underway in Gazipur, Jessore, Rajshahi and other divisional and district headquarters of the country.

Junaid Ahmed also visited some projects of E-Softerina International, Millennium Information Solution Ltd and Square Informatics Ltd in the park.
