DHAKA: Bangladesh’s advancement in the information and technological sector drew attention of the people around the globe and institutions from around the world want to participate in the sector.

This is why the country needs to exploit its information and technological potentiality to eliminating poverty and achieving economic development.

Chinese ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jun came up with the observations in a meeting with State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak at Agargaon on Thursday.

Li Jun praised the achievements of Bangladesh and proposed to be a partner in the information and technological sector.

He also said China would help Bangladesh in every possible way in all new projects taken by the government for the development in information and technological sector.

Additional secretary to ICT division Kamal Uddin Ahmed, director general of ICT directorate Mustafa kamal Uddin and BCC Director Javed Ali Sarker among others were present in the meeting.
