DHAKA: Mentioning ‘Cyber Attack-- the biggest threat for internet’ country’s IT experts and professional said that awareness can save anyone from being affected by cyber criminal.

They came to this assertion on a discursion arranged by CTO Forum at the Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon of the Capital recently.

At the discursion speakers said there, internet, no doubt the best technology, is playing vital role in all sectors including education, entertainment, health and business.

“As many others, there are also some side affect of using internet, such as anyone might be victim of cyber attack and in this concern the best to way to be safe is to be aware”, they added.

On behalf of CTO Forum, its president Tapan Kanti Sarker told that we must be aware about cyber security as now-a-days ratio of internet user is increasing rapidly by digitalization by the government, in his welcome speech.

CTO, Juniper Networks, Sajal K Pal, presented the key-note there, where he said CTO Forum has already arranged five such discursions and it will continue to make people conscious.

Among others ICT Secretary Nazrul Islam Khan, Dutch Bangla Bank Deputy Managing Director (DMD) Abul Kashem M Shireen, Brac IT Services CEO Nawed Iqbal, Bangladesh Bank’s System Analysist Debdulal Roy and Airtel Bangladesh’s CEO Lutfor Rahman were also present there.
