DHAKA: Apple has made it well known that its Watch is more than a piece of technology: it's a thoroughbred fashion item, too, which has received critical acclaim from watch experts as well as tech journalists. This explains why it’s showing the device off at Paris Fashion Week.

For one day only, Apple is showing off the watch at fashion store Colette in Paris. Gizmodo.com published the news on Tuesday.

Currently the devices are on show behind glass in window displays that went up overnight, but those calling in at the store between 11am to 7pm local time will get a chance to seem them up close.

However, it's another nod to the fact that the Apple's wearable is being peddled as a luxury lifestyle product as much as a piece of technology.
