The government has decided to hold the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations from September 15, while the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be held in November this year. 

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said it during press conference on Sunday (July 17) at the ministry. 

The government postponed this year's SSC and equivalent exams June 17, for an indefinite period owing to the worsening flood conditions in Sylhet region.

Earlier, the exams were set to begin on June 19 and end on July 6. However, it was delayed by about four months due to Covid 19 pandemic. Usually, SSC exams take place in February.
