DHAKA: An injured pedestrian died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital who was injured in a road accident in city’s Khilkhet area.

The deceased was identified as Ruhul Amin, 26, son of Ashraf Ali, resident of the area.

Victim’s younger brother Al-Amin said to banglanews that a rashly driven private car ran over Ruhul Amin in Khilkhet while he was crossing the road at 9:00pm on Sunday, leaving him injured critically.

He was rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries at 11:00am on Monday.
