DHAKA: A school boy committed suicide in catipal’s Matikata area on Monday night.

The deceased was identified as Salahuddin Sajib, 15, son of Assistant Sub-Inspector Alauddin.

Family sources said that Salahuddin was a candidate of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination.

Family members gave him pressure to study and in a huff he committed suicide.

Confirming the matter Cantonment Thana Officer-in-Charge Salahuddin told banglanews, “The body was handed over to his family without an autopsy.”
