Members of Joint forces, in a drive, arrested four robbers from Rupsha upazila of the district in the early hours today (Oct 30).

On secret information, a joint forces team comprised of Coast Guard and Police went on a drive at Ghupiar Khal area under Rupsha upazila in Khulna and arrested the leader of the robber syndicate Sabbir Hossain and his three accomplices in the early hours today, said Officer of Coast Guard West Zone Lieutenant Mahbub Hossain.

The law enforcement agencies also seized a homemade shooter gun, four rounds of bullets, three hand bombs, and 100 pieces of contra-banned yaba tablets, three lethal weapons and four mobile phones from their possessions.
