Foreign Affairs Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in a bilateral meeting in Beijing on Tuesday (January 21).

Although the meeting took place in the morning, details of the discussions have not yet been disclosed.

Touhid Hossain arrived in China on Monday at the invitation of Wang Yi. 

During his visit, both sides are expected to discuss plans for the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Bangladesh and China.

Following his engagements in Beijing, Hossain will travel to Shanghai before concluding his three-day visit and returning to Bangladesh on January 24.
