The government has sent four Deputy Inspector Generals (DIGs) of police on retirement.

The Public Security Division of the Home Ministry issued separate notifications today, signed by Senior Secretary Nasimul Gani.

The officers retiring are Md Abdul Quddus Amin, DIG of Naval Police; Md Nisharul Arif of the Anti-Terrorism Unit; Amena Begum; and Md Azad Mia of the Highway Police.

The notifications said that the retirement was in accordance with Section 45 of the Public Service Act, 2018. The retired officers will receive all retirement benefits as per the rules.
