A Dhaka court today ordered the confiscation of lands, three flats, a seven-storey under-construction building, and six bank accounts belonging to former Air Force chief Shaikh Abdul Hannan.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain passed the order following a petition by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).

The ACC stated that Hannan acquired substantial assets beyond known sources of income through abuse of power, irregularities, and corruption. 

The seized properties include flats in Khilkhet and Mirpur DOHS, land in Narayanganj, and a building in a Mirpur military housing project.
