BGB man drown in Bogra

BOGRA: A Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel drowned in the Jamuna River at Tajurpara village under Sariakandi upazila of the district on Sunday.

The deceased was identified as Shahadat Hossain, 54, a Mess Waiter at a Jessore BGB camp, son of Tafazzal Mia, of in the village.

Shahadat went to bathe at the river in nearby Antarpara area of the village at 12:30pm. About 20 minutes later, his body was found floating there.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, Sariakandi Thana duty-officer Mohammad Shahin said the BGB man died of blood hemorrhage in his head.
