DHAKA: A college girl was found dead at coaching centre in Siddheshwari area of the city on Monday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Irin, 20, a first-year student of Saphena Women’s Dental College and daughter of a Dr Saiful Islam.

On information, Ramna Thana police rushed in and recovered the hanging body from the coaching centre in the afternoon.

Lutfur Rahman, owner of the coaching centre told banglanews that the security guard of the coaching centre informed him about the matter around 3:00pm.

Meanwhile, father of the girl Dr Saiful Islam said Irin was missing for the last three days and he had filed a general diary (GD) with Ramna Thana in this connection.

Sub-Inspector Habibur Rahman of Ramna Thana confirmed the matter to banglanews.
