Bangla Academy: National Debate Festival started at Bangla Academy premises on Friday morning with the participation of more than 200 schools, colleges and universities.

National Debate Federation of Bangladesh (NDF-BD) organized the program.

At the inaugurating of the fest, a colorful procession was brought out around 9:30am which started from in front of Dr. Muhammad Shahidullah Bhaban and ended at the same place after parading Doyel Chattar and the National Press Club.

More than thousands students took part in the rally.

The banglanews24.com, the largest online news portal of Bangladesh including Channel I and the daily Ittefaq, are the media partners of this festival.

The debate festivals will be held in several sessions like as inauguration and lifetime achievement award distribution and various workshops on debate, presentation of several formats of debates include NDAD on BD format, regional, parliamentary, plan chat, world format, comedy and so on.

The festival will lasts till Saturday and there will be cultural program on the last day’s evening, participated by country’s leading artistes.
