In observance of the International Democracy Day, BNP leaders and activists started to gather in front of the party's Nayapaltan headquarters from 12:00 pm on Tuesday (September 17). 

The rally is scheduled to commence at 2:30 pm, with the party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman addressing the crowd virtually as the chief guest.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will preside over the event, with other senior leaders scheduled to speak.

Thousands of the party leaders and activists are seen chanting slogans on the adjacent roads in favour of the BNP.

However, senior party leaders are yet to reach the venue.
