DHAKA: BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia on Friday approved the new committee of Gazipur district BNP formed with central organizing secretary Fazlul Haque Milon and Saiful Islam Babul as president and general secretary respectively.

The approval was given at about 11pm when party joint secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, also in charge of forming the committee, met Khaleda Zia with the list of new committee members.

Milon was elected committee president through voting by the Gazipur district BNP members at the party central office at Naya Paltan on August 10.
