DHAKA: A police constable received splinter injuries in front of Notre Dame College in city’s Arambagh area as a group of miscreants blasted a cocktail in the area on Wednesday afternoon.

Witness said that the blockaders hurled a cocktail aiming at the police constable who was on-duty in the area, leaving him seriously injured.

Other on-duty police members rescued and admitted him to a hospital.

However, law enforcers are searching the criminals though no one is reportedly detained in the incident.
