CHANDIND (COMILLA): A chairman runner, chosen by ruling Awami League (AL), in the impending Union Parisad elections has died of cardiac arrest in Borokamta area under Debidwar upazila of the district Sunday morning (March 13).

The deceased was identified as Joynal Abedin, hailed from the area.

Joynal Abedin’s neighbour one Abul Kalam told banglanews that he felt a sudden chest pain while having breakfast at home.

Later, he passed away on way to a local hospital around 8:00am, he added.
