DHAKA: Prominent writer and also former member of Bangladesh Chhatra League leader Mahbubul Haque Shakil died of a heart attack at a restaurant in city’s Gulshan area on Tuesday (December 6).

He performed as special assistant (media) to the prime minister during the tenure of AL-led government.

Gulshan Thana sub-inspector (SI) Sohel Rana told Banglanews that the body was kept at a room of the restaurant.
