SATKHIRA: Police arrested seven people from their respective residence for alleged involvement in killing of Satkhira Jatyatabadi Matsyajibi Dal general secretary.

The detainees are Sadik Anwar Chottu, general secretary of Ashsuni thana Matsyajibi Dal, Kamruzzaman Babu, son Hamzer Ali, of Sadar upazila, Anwar Hossain, son Maruf Sardar, of Magura village under Sadar upazila, Anwarul Islam, son of Kaoser Mollik,  Anwar Hossain, son of Abul Hossain, Tohiduzzaman, son of Moniruzzaman and Golam Mostafa Babu of Makbular Rahman of Dhulihar village.

Satkhira Sadar police station officer-in-Charge told banglanews, deceased’s mother Fatema Begum filed a murder case on Friday midnight. Later, seven people were held early Saturday for interrogation.”  

After completing autopsy, the body of Amanullah Aman was handed over to his family.

He will be laid to rest after holding two Namaj-e-Janazas at Shaheed Abdur Razzaq Park and Pollimangal School Ground in afternoon.

Aman Ullah Aman, 44, a district Jatiyatabadi Matsyajibi Dal secretary, was killed and nine others were injured in a clash between two factions of BNP over a trifling matter in the town on Friday.
