KHULNA: Police detained four persons, including Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami secretary Asafur Rahman, from Koyra upazila of Khulna early on Saturday (January 6).  

The three others are-joint secretary Saifullah of Koyra thana, Abdul Hai Siddiqui and Sura member Jamal Hossain.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Koyra police station Enamul Haque told Banglanews that men were detained from Gobra village as they were reported to be hatching a plan to commit sabotage activities.

A lot of Jihadi books were seized from their possession.
