DHAKA: The Gonosonhoti Andolon, a platform of leftists, has nominated its leader Zonayed Saki as mayoral candidate for the by-polls in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC).
The decision was taken at the executive committee meeting of the platform on Wednesday (January 10).
Zonayed Saki contested the mayoral race in 2015.
